Glen Greenwald and Laura Poitras interview NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden [12 mins]

Edward Snowden has chosen to give up a comfortable life working on the
inside of the spy world in the U.S., to sound the alarm, to whit: they are, or have plans
to, record every single bit and byte of everyone's life - e-mails; Facebook; twitter;
health records; phone calls - everything.

That ain't democracy. Call it what you will, it is the farthest point from freedom: freedom from being
controlled; freedom from intimidation; freedom from fear.

Snowden is a hero cut from the same cloth as Daniel Ellsberg [Pentagon Papers - lies
used to justify the Vietnam War. 58,000 American servicemen died in that conflict.
Millions of Vietnamese perished.]

Politely tell the White House to back off from any notions of persecuting
Mr. Snowden, here: Petitions -White House .
